Every pigeon enters the same loft environment and follows the same settling, preparation, training and qualification programme.
A deliberately limited field
The race is capped at 250 pigeons, with a maximum of 10 entries per fancier. The limited format is designed to keep the competition focused and give quality birds a meaningful opportunity.
A recognised final
The remaining Northern Premier pigeons will be contested with the Midland National Flying Club Young Bird Race 2027.
